PharmaCause for Veterans™ helps U.S. veterans access free prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications, and medical, vision, and dental supplies.

Many of the veterans returning from Iraq or Afghanistan have no insurance and no prescription coverage. They suffer from chronic and treatable disorders at a rate three-times higher than the general American population. Among young veterans, unemployment is high. Since the start of the Iraq war, the unemployment rate for vets has risen to more than 12 percent in 2011.^[1]

Veterans who register for PharmaCause for Veterans™, answer a few screening questions and upload a prescription can receive medicines and supplies via mail order. The PharmaCause for Veterans™ program is accessed via veteran-focused social media sites and communities such as ArmedZilla, Military.com, Stripes.com and IAVA.org, and other social media and pharmaceutical sites.

PharmaCause for Veterans™ makes it easy for pharmaceutical companies to control and distribute products and information to veterans on any digital channel anytime, anywhere.
